INDOOR SHOOTING ST EDMUNDS 2011/2012

The venue is St Edmunds Church Hall in Roundhay, which is located at the junction of Lidget Park Road and North Park Avenue. The  location is just off Roundhay Park and the Ring Road. For further details put LS8 1JN into  www.multimap.com

The Hall has disabled access, kitchen facilities for hot drinks etc, toilets and storage for our targets and stands over the winter: the cost will be £5 per session.

The sessions will be on the following Saturday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm, shooting a Portsmouth round (five dozen arrows at a distance of 20 yards).

    October 15th  and   29th      November  19th  and  26th

    December  10th  and   17th    January  14th  and   28th

    February  11th  and   25th

We need around 12 people on average to make hiring the Hall pay its way, so it would a great help to have some indication of number as each session comes round.

If we cancel up to two weeks in advance then we incur no penalty so I suggest that people should register their interest with me (Peter Hine, 110 Bentley Lane, Leeds, LS6 4AJ, 0113 2785238, p.j.hine@leeds.ac.uk) around three weeks beforehand by either mail, phone, email).

"It may not take all your strength to shoot a compound but you'll strain yourself pulling the arrows"

Portsmouth scoring uses the 10 zone method. A typical score sheet is shown below.
