A popular one-way Western, shot to BLBS Rules Plenty of sherry and cakes: Quality pewter trophies; Lots of fun spot prizes; The unique `best green’ award, `Trust the motorist’ scorecards; Chaos and confusion. Unfortunately, due to a world shortage of field kitchens, we will be unable to offer pie and peas this year. There will however be free tea and coffee. We hope you will come and join us on Saturday 14th July 2012. The tournament will be one-way but otherwise shot according to British Long Bow Society Rules: No sighters; no bouncers. Ranking by hits, score and golds in that order Prizes: Tankards and medals for the best gentleman and lady. Medals for the best juniors .Tankard for the best gold on an end specified by the field captain. Clubs are invited to raise their standards on the field. Team prize; Lady Paramount’s prize, worst white and best green. Field captain: tba. Lady Paramount: Barbara Skinner. Judge: tba. Itinerary Sherry and cake 12.30 pm Shooting starts: 1.00 pm.
